Moxie Girl 2
Sixty feet from the sand. Sunrise over the water. The real Bahamas.
Welcome to the Bahamas
Moxie Girl 2 sits just 60 feet from the sand on Mangrove Cay — wake up, step outside, and watch the sunrise come up over the water. Andros is the largest island in the Bahamas and one of the least visited, which means you get the real thing, not the tourist version.
The cottage is tucked among ten coconut palms and one beautiful kamalame tree — shade, swaying fronds, and the kind of setting you only find in the out islands. This is where you come to truly unplug. The water is impossibly blue, the pace is slow, and the only thing on the agenda is whatever you feel like doing.

The third largest barrier reef on Earth
The Andros Barrier Reef runs the length of the island — the third largest barrier reef on the planet. Just beyond the reef, the ocean floor drops away into the Tongue of the Ocean, a deep-water trench plunging over 6,000 feet. That dramatic edge makes for outstanding pelagic offshore fishing just a short boat ride from the dock — mahi, wahoo, tuna, and blue marlin are all in play.
Bonefish capital of the world
Andros is it — the undisputed bonefish capital of the world. The gray ghost haunts the vast shallow flats of the Middle Bight, South Bight, and the legendary waters down by Lisbon Creek on the West Side. These are some of the most productive bonefishing flats on the planet, and they're right out your door.
